Accounting firms in Singapore: Sign the SME owners still comparing quotes

A founder about to incorporate asks several firms the same things. How much for corp sec? What does bookkeeping cost at my size? Is the Form C-S included? The firm that answers clearly, all in, makes the choice easy. We answer every enquiry in seconds from your fee list, ask the questions you'd ask, book the call, and reach your clients and old enquiries before their filing dates.

Where a firm loses clients

The fee question you answer too late. A founder sends the same message to a few firms: corp sec, bookkeeping, incorporation, how much? You're closing someone's accounts, so you reply tomorrow. By then a firm with a clear package price has already booked the call.

Price shoppers who never see what's included. They compare your fee with the cheapest headline price online. Nobody tells them that price stops at bookkeeping and year-end filing, and that GST returns and resolutions cost extra. So you look expensive.

Replies that stall in the year-end rush. Filing season hits and every client wants an answer the same week. New enquiries wait behind them. Hiring help is hard, so the owner does tax work and the front desk at once.

The deadline a client hears about late. The ECI date passes, or the AGM sneaks up, and the client finds out from a reminder letter instead of from you. Missed filings are one of the top reasons SMEs switch firms.

The renewal that quietly goes elsewhere. A client hasn't heard from you since last year's filing. When the corp sec fee comes due, it feels like paying for a name on a form, and they move to the firm that kept in touch.

How Singapore SME owners pick a firm

Read what Singapore business owners say about their accountants, and the same five things come up.

01An all-in fee, up frontThey want one yearly number that includes the add-ons they'll actually need. A low starting price that grows later is the complaint they repeat most.
02A named person who replies"Who's my accountant, and how fast do you reply?" Being passed between staff, or a promised reply time that slips, is why they leave.
03Deadlines handled for themThey don't want to be the one chasing their own P&L or asking if the AGM is done.
04A provider ACRA has registeredCorp sec and filing work needs registration with ACRA, and owners can check who's registered.
05Books they can see any timeCloud accounting, with reports they can open whenever they like.
Clear fees, fast replies and no missed dates. Those are what SME owners say they want. They're also what a small firm can deliver better than a big one.

The rules your marketing and follow-ups have to follow

Two sets of rules matter most when you market a firm in Singapore: ACRA's rules on who may offer what, and PDPC's Do Not Call rules on who you may message. Here they are in plain words.

Your marketing can't
✕Offer audits unless you're a public accountantACRA says public accountants provide public accountancy services, such as auditing financial statements. Anyone else can't claim or imply they're registered or authorised to.
✕Offer corp sec or ACRA filings without CSP registrationSince the Corporate Service Providers Act came into force on 9 June 2025, firms that act as company secretary or file with ACRA for others must register with ACRA as a CSP.
✕WhatsApp a person's own number uninvitedA marketing message to a Singapore number, WhatsApp included, needs a Do Not Call Register check or the person's clear consent. That covers a director's personal mobile and a founder who hasn't incorporated yet.
✕Treat one job as an ongoing relationshipPDPC says a once-off transaction isn't enough. An incorporation-only client with no retainer is a once-off.
Your marketing can
✓Market to a business, for the businessPDPC excludes business-to-business messages sent to an organisation for its own purposes, like a call to a company's business number taken from its website. Mixing in a personal offer loses the exclusion.
✓Message current clients about their accountA retainer counts as an ongoing account, and messages that deliver the service a client signed up for are excluded too. Filing reminders to your own clients fit here.
✓Reply to anyone who askedAnswering a person's own enquiry about your fees isn't a cold marketing message.
Why this matters to us: Booked. never describes your firm as an audit firm unless you're a public accounting entity. Revived. only messages your current clients and people who agreed to hear from you. Anyone else's personal number is checked against the Do Not Call Register first.

08 / FAQ

Questions accounting firm owners ask

Can it quote our corp sec, bookkeeping and incorporation fees?

+

Yes, from your own fee list. It asks a few questions first, like company stage, GST status and roughly how many transactions a month, then gives the package that fits with what's included and what costs extra.

Will it give tax advice?

+

No. It answers general questions, like when ECI is usually due, and passes anything about a client's own tax or accounts to you with the full chat.

How does it handle someone asking for the cheapest corp sec?

+

It gives your price straight and says what's in it. Owners comparing headline prices often don't know what's left out, so a clear all-in answer helps a fair fee look fair.

Will clients think they're talking to a bot?

+

It writes in your firm's tone and answers the actual question, not a menu. If someone asks, it says it's your firm's booking assistant and offers to pass them to a person.

Can we remind clients about ECI, AGM and Form C-S dates?

+

Yes, for current clients. PDPC treats an ongoing account as an ongoing relationship, and messages that deliver the service a client signed up for are excluded from the Do Not Call rules. Former clients and enquiries need consent or a register check.

Can we follow up founders who enquired but didn't sign?

+

With care. A message to a company's business number, for the company, is business-to-business and excluded. A founder who hasn't incorporated yet, or a personal mobile, is an individual. So Revived. checks the Do Not Call Register unless they've agreed to hear from you.

We're not a public accounting firm. Can we say we do audits?

+

No. ACRA says only public accountants provide public accountancy services such as auditing, and others can't claim or imply they're authorised. We keep "audit" out of everything we write for you unless you're a public accounting entity.

How does it cope with filing season?

+

It answers every chat as it comes in, at the same time, however busy the week gets. New enquiries don't wait behind your existing clients.

Do you guarantee more clients?

+

No one can honestly guarantee that. You'll see the numbers yourself: enquiries answered, calls booked, old enquiries brought back.

What does it cost?

+

Booked. is S$997 a month, month to month. Firms with a team of one to five can check if they qualify for a scholarship. Revived. is pay per appointment. MultiCasting is quoted after the call.
