Beauty, nail & lash studios in Singapore: Book your next client while you finish this set

A full set takes you two hours, and your hands don't leave the client. Meanwhile someone comments "price?" on your post, two people DM for Saturday, and a regular asks for her refill. We answer each one in seconds, take the deposit, book the slot, and bring back the regulars who are overdue.

Where a studio loses clients

The DM you see two hours later. You can't pick up your phone with glue on the tweezers or gel under the lamp. When you finally check, she's booked with the studio that answered while you were working.

"Price?" under your post, then nothing. Instagram is your shop window, so that's where people ask. A reply hours later, or a "DM me", and the comment just sits there.

The no-show in a one-person diary. There's no other tech to hand the slot to. You turned someone else away, maybe moved your morning around, and the chair stays empty.

The refill that never got booked. Lashes need an infill every few weeks, nails a redo. If nobody nudges her when she's due, she books whoever has a slot open that day.

"The other studio is cheaper." Some clients haggle in the chat. You either cut your price or spend twenty minutes explaining why you charge what you charge.

How Singapore clients pick a studio

Ask around in Singapore for a nail or lash studio and these five things come up.

01The work, on InstagramPeople scroll a studio's posts before they ever message. Then they ask if you can do the look in their photo.
02Clean tools, every timeSterilised tools and gentle glue are what careful clients check for, especially with lashes near the eye.
03No hard sellSingapore round-ups list "they don't hard sell" as a reason to pick a studio. Pushing packages is a reason to leave one.
04Wary of prepaid packagesAfter a run of sudden salon closures, many would rather pay per visit than lock money into a package.
05Booking in the chatMost small studios here take bookings on Instagram, WhatsApp or Telegram, with a small deposit to hold the slot. Clients expect a quick answer there.
So you win on the basics: answer fast, show the price plainly, make booking easy and never push. That's hard to do alone with your hands full.

What the fair trading rules mean for how you sell

Beauty was the most complained-about industry at CASE in 2025. About two in five of those complaints were about prepaid money lost when a business closed suddenly, and about one in five were about pressure sales or misleading claims. Singapore's consumer watchdog, CCS, has acted against salons over it under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act. Here's what its guidance for the beauty industry says, in plain words.

You can't
✕Pressure a client to buyRepeated pitches after she's said no count as pressure.
✕Sell to someone who can't clearly understand or replyThe watchdog's cases often involve elderly customers.
✕Run fake discountsA "was" price you never charged, or an opening promotion that never ends.
✕Promise results you can't back upClaims about what a treatment does have to be true.
You can
✓Sell packages and promotionsAs long as the price, the discount and the terms are clear before the service, and the discount is real.
Why this matters to you: a small studio that states its price plainly and never pushes is the kind of business Singapore clients are now looking for. Booked. sells that way by default.

What lands in your DMs mid-set

Most messages a nail or lash studio gets are the same handful of questions.

How much for this?Any slot this Saturday? Can you do this design? (with a photo)Refill or full set?How much is the deposit? Can I move my appointment?
Booked. answers these from your price list and your calendar, in your tone. A photo it can't judge, like whether a look suits her lashes, comes straight to you.

08 / FAQ

Questions studio owners ask

I run my studio alone. Is this built for me?

+

Yes. A one-person studio loses the most to a slow reply, because nobody else can answer while you work. Teams of one to five can check if they qualify for a Booked. scholarship.

Does it answer Instagram DMs and comments?

+

Yes. It replies to DMs, and when someone comments "price?" on a post it sends her a DM and books her. WhatsApp, Facebook and your website chat too.

Can it take a deposit when someone books?

+

Yes. When she says yes, it sends the deposit request in the chat. You decide the amount, which services need one, and your late-cancel rules.

Clients send me photos of designs. Can it handle that?

+

It reads the photo and answers the simple part: price, time, the next slot. If only you can say whether you can do the look, it passes the chat to you.

Will it push packages on my clients?

+

No. You decide what it offers, and it never repeats a pitch after a no. Singapore clients are tired of hard selling, and the fair trading rules are strict about pressure sales.

Can I still sell packages?

+

Yes. It states the price and the terms plainly, before she pays, the way the watchdog's guidance asks. It won't push one on anyone.

What about clients who haggle?

+

It holds your price. It explains what's included and why, and only offers a discount if you've told it to.

Will my clients think they're talking to a bot?

+

It says it's your studio's booking assistant, and offers to pass her to you whenever she wants a person.

Do I need a new WhatsApp number?

+

No. It works on the number your clients already have saved.

What does it cost?

+

Booked. is S$997 a month, month to month. Teams of one to five people can check if they qualify for a scholarship. Revived. is pay per appointment.
